Neon Afterglow
Overview
Backstage electricity, bottled for a campaign
Neon Afterglow documents the charged half-hour before showtime: marquee bulbs warming up, quick changes in narrow corridors, the particular focus of a cast about to walk. Conceived as a campaign story for a nightlife-inspired capsule collection, it trades polish for voltage.
The production embedded a two-person photo team inside a real show call, shooting the genuine countdown rather than restaging it — which is why the frames hum with unrepeatable tension.
Approach
Embedded, never staged
The team rehearsed positions for two days, then shot a single live show call with no retakes. Wardrobe changes were timed to real cues; the camera learned the choreography the way the cast had — by repetition under pressure.
Outcome
A launch with a pulse
The story ran across the brand’s global channels and flagship windows, and its key frame became the collection’s defining image for the season.
